Your tattoo will be a little bit sore after the first wash and redness/swelling is normal.
Allow your tattoo to dry out for up to one day, when the tattoo has become dry and the skin feels tight you can apply a very small amount of mild moisturiser (E45, Coco Butter, Simple etc) are all perfect, avoid anything with strong fragrance, or strong anything!
Continue washing the tattoo morning & evening and apply moisturiser whenever the tattoo feels tight/dry, do not over wash or over moisturise.
After 5-7 days scabs and flakes of skin (if you have them) will naturally fall off, this is annoyingly itchy but do not pick them off it will pull ink out of your tattoo which could also scar!

Also
Whilst your tattoo is healing avoid - Direct sunlight, baths and swimming.
Do not use any aftercare that hasn’t been recommended by your tattooist.
After leaving the studio the healing of your tattoo is your responsibility, any areas that become patchy or discoloured can be touched up but this should be minimal if you take care of your tattoo.
